Future restoration projects
THE GRAVESTONE OF GEORG CHRESTELS
A valuable gravestone, originally situated inside the Black Church, was probably a creation of the renowned sculptor Sigismund Möß. Since the early 20th century, it is situated in the Central Evangelic-Lutheran Cemetery. Former interventions led to its deterioration, thus its restoration is of immediate necessity.

The restoration of one of the oldest houses in the city, necessary due to static imbalance, seems a task as complicated as thrilling, promising to reveal new details about the secular history of the house.
18’th CENTURY CLOSET
A closet that has until recently been used almost daily in the parish seems to hide underneath its layers of worn-out, darkened mordant and varnish, exquisite miniature paintings depicting idyllic hunting scenes typical of the 18th century.
